Kindergarten Choice Lottery
The online application is now closed.
Parents will have a 3-week window of opportunity to apply, from 9:00 am on January 29 to 4:00 pm on February 16, 2024.
Parents and guardians will register their children entering kindergarten for these five programs through the Kindergarten Lottery. Click on each one for school locations and registration information.
- Early French Immersion
- East Kensington Outdoor Learning (EKOLogy)
- Intensive Fine Arts
- Montessori; and
- Traditional

2024 Kindergarten Lottery Important Dates:
- January 15 - Register for catchment/local school online
- January 29 - Online application opens for kindergarten lottery
- February 7 - Last day to register for catchment school in order to apply for kindergarten lottery
- February 16 - Online Kindergarten lottery application closes
- February 21 to March 10th - Lottery random draw takes place. Lottery results will be emailed to applicants to accept or decline and/or with waitlist placements.
